It first became popular in Taiwan, migrated to Canada and spread to trendy spots on the West Coast. Boba drinks may be disconcerting at first to those that have not tried it before, but better than a boring Frappuccino. Boba drinks come in a variety of forms: boba milk tea, boba flavored tea, boba slush, boba smoothie, boba snow, etc. Some boba drink shops serve over 100+ boba flavors.
